The Victor "Batwing" label first appeared with the January 1914 releases, and specially designed so that owners could write their own index numbers at the top for filing in storage albums. Note the "75c. in U. S. A." on the left-hand side, and the last line ending with "See conditions." (Recorded in Camden, August 21, 1914.) Ryan Barna Collection.
