Billy Murray (as "William Murray") on the cover of "The Black Sheep Loves You Best of All or Better Than the Rest." This song was published in 1897, prior to when Murray came to New York (in 1903). The publishing firm of Howley, Haviland & Co. became Howley, Haviland & Dresser in 1900. Even if this is a 1903 print, the copyright notice on the first page was not changed to include Dresser.
